A reliable groundwater source requires a pump that can deliver the required volume of water even when the pumping level is far below the surface.

For a European deep-well project, the customer required approximately 210 m³/h of water together with a high lifting capacity.

The selected pump was the 400QJH210-300/11, equipped with a 300 kW submersible motor.

Its rated head of 300 m allows the pump to handle substantial vertical lift and pressure losses in long discharge pipelines.

Unlike surface-mounted pumping equipment, the QJH unit is lowered directly into the borehole. The motor and hydraulic section work beneath the water level, and the pumped water is delivered upward through the vertical discharge pipe.

The project also used different materials according to component function. The pump head is cast iron, while stainless steel is used for the impellers and motor.

This configuration is suitable for high-capacity deep-well water systems where reliable submerged operation is required.

Potential applications include groundwater supply, industrial water systems, municipal water transfer, agricultural water storage and other high-head borehole projects.

The European order shows how the 400QJH series can be configured for large and technically demanding groundwater installations.
